Dress for your body. Not the other way around.
Not a Skinny Mom Project helps women dress with proportion, intention, and confidence for the body and life they have right now.

02 / Fit over trend
03 / Proportion / intention / confidence
Clothes that fit, last, and work for your life.
Not a Skinny Mom Project is not what you think.
The name is the hook. The mission is bigger.
Fashion has spent decades convincing women that if clothes don't work, their bodies are the problem. I believe the opposite.
Style isn't about labels, trends, or chasing whatever your feed decided was in this season. It's about understanding your body, dressing with intention, and building a wardrobe that makes you feel confident every day.
When you understand proportion, you stop guessing. When you shop with intention, you stop wasting money on clothes you'll never wear. Confidence becomes the result not the goal.
No Shein hauls. No Amazon carts full of things you'll return. No chasing trends that were never designed for your body in the first place.
Through one-on-one styling and practical wardrobe guidance, I help women create closets they love and the confidence to wear them.
Because style isn't about becoming someone else.
My philosophy is simple:
Proportion.
Intention.
Confidence.
Style is power. First impressions are real. And you deserve to own yours.
It is not about hiding. It is about directing the eye.
Getting dressed is about proportion and intention. Wide leg pants, a blazer, a neckline, a hem, a fabric with weight: every choice changes where the eye goes and how the whole outfit feels. The goal is not to chase trends or force your body into a size. The goal is to understand your own proportions and build clothes around them.
Proportion first
Every body distributes weight differently. The right outfit creates balance for your shape, not someone else's.
Fit over trend
No Shein hauls. No Amazon carts full of things you’ll return. No chasing trends that weren’t made for your body anyway.
Confidence through clarity
When you know why something works, shopping and getting dressed stop feeling random.

04 / Garment center insider / Wife / Mom of three
A garment-industry eye for the body you have now.
I spent years in New York's garment center learning the industry from the inside. Production manager by training. Fashion designer in my head. I learned what separates a well-made garment from a cheap one, how fabric drapes, where seams should sit, and what a proper cut actually feels like. Then my body changed after kids, and it was harder than ever to find clothes that worked. If it was hard for me, I know it is hard for others. Not a Skinny Mom Project is my answer to that.
- FIT graduate. 15+ years NYC garment production and import.
- From sketch to delivery. I know every step of how clothes are made.
- Worked hands-on with Italian patternmakers and NYC's finest sewing contractors.
- Classic, elegant, a little edgy. Never without comfort.
Getting dressed should feel good. Let's make that happen.
Every session is built around your body, your lifestyle, and what actually works for both. No trends, no pressure, no one-size-fits-all approach.

Common questions before you book.
A few honest answers about body types, closet resets, payment, local sessions, and what happens after you reach out.
Do you work with all body types?
Yes. Every session is built around your specific body, proportions, and lifestyle. Plus-size, petite, pregnant, postpartum, changing body: there is no standard body here.
I am not local. Can you still help me?
Absolutely. Style Spark is available by phone or video, wherever you are.
I am nervous about someone going through my closet. Is that normal?
Completely normal. There is zero judgment here. Before we start, I ask a few simple questions to understand your style, lifestyle, and what you actually reach for. Then we go from there.
Am I required to make any purchases?
No. Everything is completely at your discretion. The goal is to shop with intention, not pressure you into buying things you do not want.
How is this different from hiring a personal shopper?
A traditional personal shopper finds what you ask for. I can do that, but I also help you understand why things work or do not work: fit, proportion, quality, and construction.
What should I expect after booking?
You will hear back to confirm details and next steps. I'll also send a short intake form so the time is focused and useful.
Where do you offer in-person sessions?
I work locally around White Plains, including Westchester, Rockland, and Putnam County, as well as nearby Connecticut including Greenwich and Stamford. Clients a little farther out may be possible with a travel fee. Just ask.
How does payment work?
Sessions are paid upfront by Venmo or Zelle. For shopping sessions, budgets and purchases are handled clearly before anything is bought.
What is your refund policy?
Sessions are non-refundable. When you book a session you are reserving my time and expertise, and that cannot be returned. That said, if something feels off I would rather talk it through than leave you unhappy. Reach out directly and we will figure it out together. For any merchandise purchased through personal shopping or styling sessions, standard store return policies apply. I will always do my best to shop at stores with fair and flexible return policies.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes. Reach out directly and I'll put together a personalized gift certificate for any session - perfect for a friend, a colleague, or a mom who could use a fresh perspective on her closet.
